Overview
To help teachers save time and deliver consistent, high-quality feedback aligned with Sweden’s curriculum, without compromising their control or voice.
We designed an AI-powered tool that analyzes student texts and provides instant, editable feedback across structure, language, tone, and grading. It integrates seamlessly into existing LMS platforms like Skolon, supports GDPR compliance, and keeps teachers fully in control of the final feedback.
Research
Our research showed that teachers struggle with time-consuming feedback tasks and inconsistent grading across subjects. Interviews and usability tests revealed a strong need for faster, more structured feedback tools that still allow for teacher control and personalization. We applied the design thinking process to validate user needs and iterated closely with educators to ensure curriculum alignment and trust in AI-generated suggestions.
Design
The design focused on creating a clear, trustworthy interface that aligns with teachers' workflows. We established a style guide to ensure visual consistency and accessibility, using calm colors, semantic icons, and structured components. The feedback layout was designed for scannability, and editable blocks offered both structure and flexibility, helping teachers work faster while maintaining full control over the content.
